Meet the Artist
Cynthia Jacobson's creative pursuits started with formal flute studies where she studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music from an early age through high school. After several years of teaching, Cynthia discovered a passion for painting which led her to study art at the University of Tampa.
Influenced by the masters like Chagall and Monet, her paintings are a reflection of her daily life in Florida. As an artist, Cynthia paints what she loves. Her beloved Maltese, Bonnie and Beau, inspired her to paint dogs, which is one of her specialties. Another focus of her work is landscapes, especially scenes near water.
Cynthia's paintings are meant to be enjoyable and pleasing to the eye. She wants them to bring pleasure to viewers and to reflect the idea that nature displays many ways of being.
